Dr. Demetrio Serra, from 1998 to 1999, carried out tax and corporate consultancy activities at KPMG S.p.A., in Milan.

Since 1999 he has been in charge of the “Diego Serra” Professional Firm, dealing with corporate, taxation and employment consultancy for medium and large companies and for corporate groups.

Since 2016 he has been of counsel at the “GLR LAW” Law Firm (Milan office).

Since 2011 he has been operating in the Czech Republic and is one of the founders of IBB PRAHA.

Graduated with full marks in Economics and Commerce from the University of Messina, he is enrolled in the Order of Chartered Accountants of Reggio di Calabria and in the Register of Statutory Auditors.

In 1998 he obtained the “IL SOLE24ORE” III MASTER in Tax Law.

He holds, and has held, the offices of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors, Member of the auditor board, legal auditor and receiver at various Italian companies as well as public bodies.

Reviser of projects financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission.

Member of the Commission for Internationalisation at the National Council of Doctors

And he was a lecturer in preparation courses for the Order of Chartered Accountants of Reggio Calabria, seminars at the “Mediterranea” and “Dante Alighieri” Universities of Reggio Calabria, preparation courses for the managers of POSTE Italiane s.p.a. organised by IPSOA EDITORE S.R.L. for the lessons on the financial statements.

He is a Publicist of “Il Sole24ore”, he has contributed as an author in particular in the specialised magazines “Accounting, Finance and Control”, “Informatore Pirola” and “L’esperto risponde”, to issues of corporate and tax law and corporate finance.

He is an expert in company valuation, extraordinary transactions, M&A and international tax issues (transfer pricing) and internationalisation.

He is specialised in business plans drafting and economic-financial check-ups of corporate groups.
