He graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Messina in 1982. He has been enrolled in the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (ODCEC) since 1984 and in the Register of Auditors since 1995. He is also a professional civil mediator.

He has held important roles in professional institutions: Member of the Board of Directors of the ODCEC from Reggio Calabria from 1995 to 2012. For three years, he was Coordinator of the ODCECs of Calabria and Basilicata and President of the Study Commission of the National Council of Chartered Accountants on Judicial Administrations. For over 30 years he has been providing advice and assistance in tax, corporate, business and accounting matters. In the control activities field, he has held and still holds the positions of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors and of Statutory Auditor in important joint-stock companies, including public shareholdings and Pension Funds. In the judicial field, he carries out the activity of Bankruptcy Trustee, Judicial Administrator, Judge’s technical consultant and tax defender.
