Viviana Fedele graduated in Civil Engineering specialised in Transport, at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria in 2001. During the same year she obtained the qualification to exercise the profession of engineer and in 2005, she obtained the title of doctor of research in Transport and Logistics Engineering at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

She is the author of several national and international scientific publications concerning the analysis of the transport demand, and she is an office technical consultant for the Court of Reggio Calabria. In 2001, she began working for ATAM SpA in Reggio Calabria, where she is still responsible for the risk management, safety (as Head of the Prevention and Protection Service), quality and sustainability unit. She is an expert consultant for safety and health in the workplace, Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments, with standard-technical, managerial, but also social skills and has supported various companies in the application of current legislation on health and safety in the workplace, also carrying out consultancy activities for the implementation of safety management systems (BS OHSAS 18001: 2007, UNI-INAIL). Furthermore she is a teacher in the field of safety and health in the workplace and in the field of fire safety.
